At the end of the course, participants will be better able to

  • Understanding the basics: life cycle, triple constraint, scope, …

  • Project planning: essential concepts and techniques (Gantt, CPM, Pert, …)

  • Project planning: tips and tricks in practical application (“how to …”)

  • Project organisation: typical structures, tips and pitfalls

  • Project organisation: roles and responsibilities; human resources management

  • Scope and Risk management: starting from the triple constraint

  • Project communication, more than a kick off meeting (promotion, meetings)

  • Project or team management ? Focus on project management soft skills

  • 10 Laws governing daily project management

  • Understanding project dynamics: throughout the two days, exercises and case studies based on the participants’ own experience will clarify the application of project management concepts and techniques in their daily practice.
